looking After Your Cuisinart Food Processor

A lot of us have some form of food chopper or vegetable slicer in our kitchen. The Cuisinart food processor was invented by Carl Sontheimer in the early nineteen seventies. He saw a market food processor while at a food trade show in France. This was later introduced to the Uk shop under the Magimix food processor brand. After licencing and redesigning it for the American home shop he marketed the Cuisinart food processor.

Now the Cuisinart became so prosperous the word "Cuisinart" is also sometimes used as a generalised trademark for any food processor in the Us. Many of us have a such a motor in our kitchen but are unsure of how to look after it.

Keep your Cuisinart Food Processor ready to use on the kitchen work face as you may damage it lifting it in and out of kitchen storehouse cupboards. When you are not using it leave it unplugged. The blades and discs are very sharp so keep out the reach of children and store in a safe place. Ensure all your accessories are kept in the same place near your motor so they are close to hand for when you want to use them.

Cleaning

All parts except the housing base are dishwasher safe, and you should wash them in the dishwasher on the top rack only. Ensure you put the parts in the dishwasher so the water drains out. This will help the parts dry and cut any water residue. The power unit can be wiped with a damp cloth and dried immediately.

For Your Safety

Like all great electrical appliances, it should be handled with care. Succeed these guidelines to safe yourself and your family from misuse that could cause injury. When handling the blades or disks ensure you hold them on the plastic rather than the blade. Also if you hand wash the blades do not leave them in soapy water as this could damage them and could cause man to not be aware they are in the water.
